Malick Mercier

Journalist

I’m Malick Mercier — a Journalism and Sociology double major at Ithaca College and a next-gen storyteller focused on telling human stories creatively. I deeply crave chai lattes and am in love with aviation. I'm currently working on my student pilot’s license. Despite finding lots of success I’ve hit a few road blocks in my path. One being when I was hit by a car! From needing to take time to recover, I learned that it was okay to take my time in general in my life and that I would always be enough. You don’t need to prove that to anyone. The fact that life is full of surprises - good and bad - and that we can embrace those low and high notes and have a positive impact on others is something that really keeps me going. I can’t wait to help tell your stories!
