Hello! My name is Reagan Hancock, but I also go by Ray! I was born in Laguna Hills, California but have moved around quite a bit since then. I’ve lived in Roosevelt, Utah; Vernal, Utah; Windsor, Colorado; and I’m currently living in Bakersfield, California. Moving around has shown me a lot about different people’s ideas and point of views, which is part of the reason I reached out to Stories Untold US! To put it simply I reached out to Stories Untold US because I wanted to share people’s stories! I believe that each individual story has value, meaning, and great importance! Stories have shaped the way our society functions and each story is worth listening to which is why it’s so important they’re shared. I wanted to be part of a movement that made this possible! One hardship that I learned the most from was when there was a shooting at our local mall. These aren’t necessarily uncommon there but this specific one happened around Christmas time. I still remember going to school the next day and listening to one girl talk about it since she was there at the time. Through listening and talking to her I was able to connect to her on a deeper level which has taught me how stories bring unity and deep connections between people! My family has always been the thing most precious to me since they’re always supporting me and pushing me to do better! There’s no way I would’ve come as far as I have if it wasn’t for them. In my free time I’m either playing soccer, tennis, skateboarding, or writing! I’m in love with horror movies (my all time favorite is The Boy)! I also love to bake which goes along with my love for anything sweet! I am very grateful for the opportunity I have to work with Stories Untold US and share other’s stories!
